Hydrogen Detector Kit Telco Envirotrols part number TEI HDK Application This components in this kit are intended to monitor a battery room for elevated hydrogen level and independently start an exhaust fan in response to hydrogen above 10% LEL (lower explosive limit). Two dry contact closures are provided as inputs to an ASI control panel or other controls. The first is an alarm, which closes whenever hydrogen exceeds 15% LEL. The second is a current sensing switch on fan control relay, which acts as a proof of exhaust fan operation. A transformer is provided to allow stand-alone operation from the same supply as exhaust fan. |
