Series Single Stage Line Voltage Controls
Description:
ACCUSTAT® Line Voltage temperature controls can save you up to 15% in energy
over bi-metal and vapor tension line voltage thermostats, that are slow to
temperature change and have wide differential.
ACCUSTAT® with its snap-in preset sensors have inherent advantages such as,
greater accuracy, no temperature drift, and near "0" droop. Locking
covers, along with preset sensors, allow for a tamper-resistant design.
Models for either 120 or 220 volts with 1 amp, 5 amps, or 20 amps load ratings.
Application:
Line voltage single
stage heat and heat/cool applications, ventilating fans, baseboard heaters, fan
coil units, etc. Especially effective where thermostat tampering is a
problem. The high accuracy and efficiency of these units makes them
"automatic upgrades" for bimetal or gas bulb type line voltage thermostats.

Engineering Specifications: |

Thermostats
shall be 120 or 220 volt heating or heating/cooling type, rated at either 1
or 5 amps, as specified. Temperature sensing shall be by means of
hermetically sealed snap-in mercury sensors with preset temperature
settings. Sensor shall be actuated by the mercury column containing
internal platinum electrodes. Case shall be molded plastic and have an
integral locking cover. |
